The Art of Ascension: Awakening Through Life’s Lessons
There are moments in life when something within us begins to stir. An invitation to pause. To listen. To look beneath the surface of our circumstances and recognize that every experience is shaping us for something deeper.
“Jesus teaches us a profound spiritual truth in the paradox of surrender: ‘Whoever loses their life for my sake will find it, and whoever holds on to their life will lose it.” This statement calls us to a radical shift in perspective, asking us to let go of our attachment to earthly desires, fears, and identities. True life, eternal life, is found not in clinging to the self we think we must protect but in releasing that self and allowing God to lead us to our highest purpose.
In surrendering our lives to God, we release the illusions of control and safety that bind us to temporary concerns. Instead of seeking fulfillment through what we can accumulate or control, we open ourselves to a life aligned with divine purpose, a life that is rich, meaningful, and eternal. This surrender is not about loss but about gaining a life that transcends our limitations and draws us closer to the Divine.
When we let go of what we think we cannot live without, we find a deeper, more profound freedom that brings peace and fulfillment that the world cannot offer. Jesus reminds us that surrendering our earthly selves leads us to everlasting life. It is only by releasing our hold that we discover the fullness of life, the life we were truly meant to live.”
